Therapy is a journey toward self discovery, self realization, growth and change. Many people find themselves struggling with issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, fear and depression. They create inaccurate beliefs about themselves based on false and negative thoughts. The secret to building positive self-esteem is to learn to see the whole you not just your mistakes, failures or imperfections.

"To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance" Oscar Wilde

I am very mindful that as human beings, we have a strong tendency to repeat maladaptive patterns. While helping to make the changes which are necessary, I focus heavily on strengths within a person and draw out the successes which have been achieved in the past! I work in close collaboration with two psychiatric nurse practitioners and other members of the medical community. I am also closely affiliated with a private psychiatric hospital in the Western New York area. I believe very strongly in treating the whole person.
